Bus Maintenance Line Supervisors-Stop Putting Yourself in Harms Way!

If you have any real time working here at the Transit Authority you know that in order for the Bus system to run, you occasionally take chances when sending buses out on the road due to fear that if you miss pull out, the managers will have you in the office harassing you for doing your job the right way. Transit writes Bulletins and policy instruction that on paper are fantastical and covers them (management) 100% but in reality they know in order for you to really follow their policies you would need to have a 12 hour work day, so goes the culture, they expect you to turn a blind eye and as they say “Make it happen, make pull out” 100% and on time.

DO NOT TAKE CHANCES WITH PUBLIC SAFETY AND DO NOT PUT YOUR JOB IN JEOPARDY BY CUTTING CORNERS AND PUTTING QUESTIONABLE RED LINED BUSES ON THE ROAD

If you are having any issues with managers at your location, call your Division Chairman or the main office and speak to me and we will handle it. No one should ever be afraid of repercussions for doing their job because they’re following the policies and procedures as written by management.
