The TSC’s as we are known work out of 2 Broadway and 3300 Norther Blvd in LIC. We supervise the Traffic Checking Department that perform data collection on trains and busses, posting the General Order Notices in Trains, Guide A Ride stock at bus stops and monitoring fare evasion throughout the system.

Right now, we are happy to be in our own unit which only came about after some hard work and ingenuity by President Modafferi. With his leadership, we were able to shed ourselves from the Career and Salary group which we transferred their representation to Local 100 which now puts us in a better position to negotiate a proper supervisor salary.

Although there’s not many of us, we are proud and loyal workers that do some of the essential duties that moves the largest transit system in the world.
