PM – Prudential Retro-Deferral Seminar

OA, TA and MTA Bus members are scheduled to receive a lump sum Retro-Active Wage Adjustment (RWA) payment from the Authority/Company within the next couple of months. As you may be aware this payment will be taxed at a rate of about 46-49%. If you would like to avoid this heavy tax burden, you should consider the option 9of deferring some or all of the payment into your Prudential 401/457 account.
We have scheduled two deferral seminars, August 25th @ 16:00 and September 1st @ 10:00. The Prudential retirement counselors will conduct an online live seminar for our members. This seminar will provide information and answers to any questions you may have about their investment tax deferred products.
