TWU Local 106 represents the skilled and dedicated Supervisors of MTA Bus operations in New York City. These supervisors oversee the day-to-day operations of the city’s bus depots, ensuring that routes run on time, buses are maintained, and safety standards are consistently met.
Our Supervisors are responsible for:
- Coordinating work assignments and schedules for drivers and maintenance staff.
- Monitoring and enforcing safety and operational procedures.
- Overseeing inspections, repairs, and maintenance of buses and equipment.
- Managing resources and responding to emergencies or service disruptions.
- Serving as a bridge between management and frontline employees, advocating for fair treatment and safe working conditions.
The men and women in these roles are essential to keeping the MTA Bus system reliable and safe. TWU Local 106 supports them with strong representation, labor advocacy, and ensuring their voices are heard in every operational and contractual decision.
