OA Maintenance – About & New

The OA Maintenance Division of the Transit Supervisors Organization (TSO) – TWU Local 106 represents supervisors responsible for maintaining and supporting the bus fleet operating under the Manhattan and Bronx Surface Transit Operating Authority (MaBSTOA).

These members play a critical role in ensuring that buses operating throughout New York City are maintained safely, efficiently, and in accordance with the highest operational standards. Their work supports the daily transportation needs of millions of riders while protecting the safety of operators, passengers, and the public.

TWU Local 106 advocates for the rights, safety, and professional standards of OA Maintenance Supervisors through strong representation, contract enforcement, and collective bargaining. The union works to ensure fair wages, safe working conditions, and the protection of member seniority and benefits.

The organization also provides members with access to resources, training opportunities, and support services while actively engaging in the broader labor movement and political advocacy to protect the interests of transit workers across New York City.
