2025 Cigna Dental DHMO Access Plus Network
In 2024 the MTA, New York City Transit Authority put the Dental Plans out for bid. President Valenti was on the voting panel that interviewed and chose the winning bidder for our dental coverage. Cigna dental won the bid retaining the PPO and DHMO plans. The one change you will notice is the Access Plus Network being added to the Cigna DHMO plan. This new network should add major increase in providers to what had remained in our deteriorating DHMO provider pool. If you already have the Cigna DHMO, you don’t need to do anything, this pool of providers will just become available to you in the new year. If you are in the PPO plan you would need to switch to the DHMO during open enrollment.
