Maintenance Line Supervisor CDL Audit
This week we had one of our members dragged down to the MTA Office of Inspector General and questioned about not having a passenger (P) endorsement on his license. He was warned to get this done ASAP. But it’s the responsibility of the MTA to get their employees the proper licenses and endorsements. We know there are many of you out there in Maintenance that either don’t have a CDL class (B) or have a CDL but not the passenger endorsement. We are compiling a list of our members in Maintenance that are required to have a CDL with a passenger endorsement but never received one after they were hired.
Please contact your Chairman immediately if you don’t have these required endorsements on your license.
