New York State Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli Visits the TSO/TWU Local 106 Office!

We are tremendously happy and proud to have our great NYS Comptroller Tom DiNapoli visits us at our headquarters in the Bronx today. And to make it even greater, we had our awesome TWU International President John Samuelsen, International Secretary Treasurer Jerome Lafragola and International Staff Rep. Christina Scott and many of our General Officers and Division Chairmen all in attendance for this monumental meeting.
Comptroller DiNapoli was accompanied by our friends and his staff Adam Acquario Director of Labor Affairs and Matthew Martini Assistant Director of Labor Affairs from Comptroller DiNapoli’s office.
Collectively we had a great meeting and a few laughs as we discussed many issues that effect our members and all TWU members working in New York City. We know that Tom DiNapoli is doing an exceptional job overseeing our pension funds and doing his best to keep the MTA honest with audits and oversight. Local 106 has worked closely with Comptroller DiNapoli’s office on the waste, fraud and abuse within the MTA over the last two years and we have developed a great relationship. If you take anything from this, know that we here at The Transit Supervisors Organization-TWU Local 106 are working night and day to do all that we can to better the lives of all of our members and their families.
