NYC Transit, Department of Buses now being run by Kamikaze Pilots!
The future of the Dept. of Buses with the current leadership at the top
The Kamikaze pilots running the Department of Buses are proceeding to carry out their idiotic 2026 plan to remove 26 Dispatchers from the road and reassign them to the Bus Command Center, this would be in addition to the 10 Dispatcher posts that were eliminated in 2025. A total of 36 Dispatchers removed from the road in the last 12 months. To make matters worse the Bus Command Center where the 26 Dispatchers would be reassigned would be using a defective radio system that is undergoing repairs 47% of the time.
Local 106 has already filed a grievance and will soon be filing a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) in State Supreme Court, on the issue of Road Dispatchers reduction and the negative effect that will have on the public and the operators that we supervise. We are also planning a press conference and rally in the upcoming weeks.
It’s obvious that the new top leader at the NYC Transit Dept. of Buses has no idea what the hell he is doing and is making huge mistakes that would put the riding public and bus operators in harms way.
We are fighting in every way possible to stop this team of kamikaze pilots that will sink the Department of Buses if they are successful.
