Celebrating Juneteenth!

Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day or Emancipation Day, commemorates the end of slavery in the United States. It is celebrated on June 19th, marking the day in 1865 when Union soldiers arrived in Galveston, Texas, and informed enslaved African Americans of their freedom, two years after the Emancipation Proclamation.
Please take a minute out of your day tomorrow to say a prayer and reflect on the American struggle for Civil Rights which has been a Hallmark of the Transport Workers Union of America.
