Join the Protest! Tell the MTA Stop the Cuts to Transit Dispatchers!

With the news of 10 Bus Dispatcher’s being eliminated from the 5 Boro’s, we will not sit quietly and let this happens without a fight! We will be having a protest with news media on December 17th in front of the East New York Bus Command Center 11AM. We ask you to join us and the SSSA as we take a stand against management plans to cut our jobs. These cuts are just the beginning of what’s to come and we can’t let this happen without a fight.

Also, we will be doing the same the following day December 18th at the MTA board meeting. We ask that you join us at 2 Broadway at 11am on this day and show those managing the NYC Transit Authority that we’re pissed off and these cuts are unjust, misdirected and will cause undue harm to the public and to bus operators who are already under attack by rising crime in the city.

If that wasn’t bad enough, we were told today by TA President Demetrius Critchlow that he WILL NOT extend Waiver and Election to MTA Bus, MSII’s and TSC Supervisors. It’s clear, the Transit Authority has no regard for their Supervisors!

For these reasons and more, we are asking you to come out and join us, as these bad decisions effect you!
