Local 106 still first and only Union to give $1000 Scholarships to members and family for Military, Trade School or College!

Local 106 is proud to be the first Union in the country to extend the scholarship program to those that attend a Trade School or complete basic training in the United States Military. Local 106 has been giving college scholarships to members and children of members for over 40 years but last year we extended that to those that attend trade school or join the United States Military. We know that going to college is not the only path for a young person, and if you choose to join the military or go to school to learn a trade, you should be given the same financial assistance.
