MTA wasting $1M to study ‘psychology’ of fare beaters — as agency cries poverty, pushes for congestion pricing

You really can’t make this up. The MTA is going to spend $1,000,000 on a study to try and figure out why people are not paying the fare to ride the buses and subways and at the exact same time they are cutting 10 road Dispatcher positions. That $1M could pay to keep these positions working out in the street adjusting bus service, helping customers, by answering questions and keeping the buses running on time, but instead they decided to spend all of our money on BULL$#!+. Like the NY Post reported, in short… Just enforce the damn law!

Governor Hochul and the MTA Board have mismanaged the State of New York and the Transit Authority and now they want to shove congestion pricing down your throat by forcing you into a dangerous crime ridden transit system, and if you don’t comply, you are taxed $9 for driving into what I call the CON ZONE. To add insult to injury the MTA wants to spend millions on stupid crap, like this idiotic study.

We are not standing by just watching, we are actively fighting the Transit Authority everyday to stop these cuts to our jobs and I can assure you, for the foreseeable future, we will be on full offense.
