NEW – Telemed Service now available to NYSHIP Empire Plan Enrollees

Through our efforts we were able to get the State to include telemed doctor visits for our members who are enrolled in the NYSHIP Empire Plan.

After you create your account the next screen asks you for your insurance info.  Employees should chose Unitedhealthcare in the drop-down box and then enter their Unitedhealthcare ID number.

I think this will be an enormous benefit to our members during this crisis.

I have also reached out to Labor Relations to see if they are going to accept a telemed doctor visit as certification for absences over five days.
