Don’t get caught in the ongoing MTA Cover-up, Bus maintenance work order scandal

On December 6, 2025 the New York Daily News Reported in detail that “Hundreds of thousands of work orders for NYC buses flagged for inspection or repairs show no recorded labor hours by MTA maintenance crews — a finding that raises the possibility buses are being put into service on New York City streets without critical repairs or required inspections, a Daily News investigation has found”.

This investigation is not over. There will be more to come so don’t get caught up in this. Do your job properly, document everything, and don’t let any bus out the door, that according to Transits’ policies is not serviceable.
