Local 106 Hits the Ground Running in the 2026 Political Year
The Transit Supervisors Organization / TWU Local 106 is not wasting any time getting back into the rough-and-tumble world of New York politics. As the 2026 political year begins, Local 106 representatives were out covering ground across different areas of the state, showing up and standing strong in support of our friends and allies.
Local 106 Recording Secretary and Senior Political Director Jose DeJesus, along with Local 106 Women’s Committee Chairwoman Michelle Gonzalez and Co-Chairwoman Renita Horton, attended multiple events, making it clear that Local 106 is present, engaged, and ready to fight for the betterment of our membership.
