Contract Negotiations 6

Things are coming together and after Labor Day we expect for the negotiation process to move quicker. We’ve met several times already with Labor Relations and made progress but progress has been slow because it takes two to make an agreement and the other side has been tied up for several reasons but those reasons or excuses are supposed to end as we’ve been promised that the supervisor unions will be the focus of negotiations for the fall. A few of the contracts will be quicker and easier to get through and a few will be a little harder as the issues involved require more work and creativity.

I promise you we will have agreements in place for every unit soon and I thank you for your patience and understanding.
