TSO/TWU Local 106 Supports the NY State Correction Officers Wildcat Strike!

TSO/TWU Local 106 stands in solidarity with the New York State Corrections officers who walked off the job and went on strike two weeks ago. We know that Corrections Officers have the most dangerous and toughest job in the country and recent law changes over the last few years have made their jobs even harder putting them further in harms way. This is a non sanctioned strike not authorized by the Union (wildcat) but regardless when you push people to the limit you give them no other choice but to push back in order to make change.

Governor Hochul has called in the National Guard to help secure the prison’s but what she really needs to do is get these men and women of the NY State Department of Corrections the help they need rather than threaten them with retaliation of the Taylor Law.

Local 106 we be heading up state to walk the pick line with the Corrections Officers. If you would like to join us call our office in the Bronx for more information (718) 601-7100.
