MSII, MTA, OA and Queens Contract Negotiations and SSII and TSC Implementation

As the SSII and TSC contracts have been approved by the MTA board we now wait for the date that all raises will be implemented. We should know by next week when you will see those raises in your check. The bad news is that the BSC is extremely backed up with other contracts that were settled before ours therefore it will be quite a while before we have a date on the retro.

This week we met with the Authority and made decent progress on the MSII, MTA, OA and Queens contracts. There are more meetings scheduled for later this month and we will continue to work as hard as we can to settle these remaining contracts. These negotiations have not gone as quickly as we would have liked but they are all moving in the direction of settlement. There have been several major items discussed at the table and when we hit a snag on those items we pushed forward and met one on one with Janno Lieber, Richard Davey, Anita Miller, Demetrius Critchlow and Frank Annicaro. I want to thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue you to work through this process. And I can assure you that every day the #1 focus of this Union is to settle these contracts.
