We are aware of the issues some of you are having if you switched from NYSHIP to Aetna or visa versa. We have been in constant communication with the benefits department about these delays and we’ve been assured they will have everyone transferred over shortly. The problem is that this department (Employee Benefits) like many others within the MTA, is extremally short staffed which is causing the backlog delays.
