MTA Board Ratifies the MTA Bus Contract!
Today the MTA Board voted on and approved the MTA Bus contract which makes it fully ratified. This was the final step we were waiting for and now it’s officially done! It usually takes about two months from the date of full ratification to see the wage increases in your pay check and between 4-6 months to get the Retro. Once we receive the information on those two important dates we will let you know.
Although we are extremely happy about achieving pay parity in this contract, we know there are still many other areas of the overall contract that we need to make up in order to achieve true parity in everyway and we will jump those hurdles in the years to come but today… We celebrate the Victory!
