NYC Retired Employees Defeat NYC in Attempt to Eliminate Traditional Medicare
Yesterday the Appellate Division of the New York Supreme Court ruled in favor of NYC retirees as the City has appealed a previous ruling barring the City from eliminating traditional Medicare for retirees forcing all retirees in Aetna Medicare Advantage.
On June 11th we will be voting on By-Laws Amendments that would put in place protections from any future TSO Union Leadership team from negotiating away traditional Medicare and eliminating retiree medical benefits. We urge to attend these meeting and vote to approve these Amendments.
