NYC Transit Authority Reduced the September 11th Terrorist Attacks Killing Thousands of Americans to “UNFORTUNATE EVENTS”

Today the Transit Authority categorized the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001 as “unfortunate events”. This message was sent out on every bus radio in New York and in a mass text message. I called them out on it, and will not drop it as this is insulting and a watering down of what happened that day.

The World Trade Center did not come down on it’s own. We know what caused it and we should be saying what caused it. Not watering down or softening the message. I’m outraged that they think this is okay and that we should all be fine with this messaging. I’m sure those that were killed that day would not like the memory of their death being stated as “unfortunate events”. Stay tuned because this ain’t over.
