Unauthorized and Fake Parking Placards

Reminder, displaying any kind of parking placard in your windshield is a violation of MTA policy. Apparently it’s also a violation of the law. Unfortunately and allegedly on March 18th a Subway Conductor was arrested by the NYPD, immediately suspended and his vehicle towed away for doing just that (as was reported by the NY Post). This is a heavy price to pay and it’s not worth it. Better to put your vehicle in a lot and pay a fee than to be suspended for something you could have avoided.
