The option to switch from NYSHIP to Aetna still open

Reminder: You still have until the end of the month Dec 31st if you want to switch out of NYSHIP and into Aetna, and if you choose to make that switch it’s permanent. This option was made available because many of our members that were forced out of Aetna and into NYSHIP after the mandatory period, were not happy about that and wanted to stay in the Aetna plan.

This option is still open but the window to make a change is closing and it will not be available again, so make sure you think about it and if you choose to make the change, get on it as time is running out.
