Lawsuit Against the MTA/NYCT and NYC

A message to our members:

As you are all aware, the MTA has continued its harassment of our members by forcing us to litigate Bus Lane and Bus Stop violations issued to our members while they are working in their capacity as Supervisors.

It is obvious to us that the MTA could care less about the Collective Bargaining Agreement or our member’s rights by failing to address the unlawfulness of the law as it applies to our Supervisors.

Therefore, we have authorized a lawsuit against the MTA and NYC  to stop the forced Penalties on our members merely for doing their jobs. 

It’s going to take several days to move forward but in the meantime, if you receive a Notice of Violation, Do Not Pay It! Send it to the Union office with all your documentation or your Division Chairman.
