President Valenti Speaking Out Against Congestion Pricing

How can you be expected to pay a $9.00 toll to the MTA when you have massive spending waste going on internally within the MTA, SBS pay before you board Bus routes that management created and has turned into a total debacle of fare evasion and out dated turnstiles that are a joke to a large portion of the riding public that refuse to pay the fare?

It’s disgraceful that they mismanage the agency to the point that their in terrible debt and their way they think they should fix it is to ask those that don’t use the system to pay for it. Sounds a lot like Socialism.

Lastly, this bad idea of paying a toll when just driving through an area will soon spread throughout New York to an area near you and if you didn’t care today you will care when it affects you.
