Reminder: Local 106 was the First Union in America to change the BY-LAWS to Stop Medicare Advantage

For some reason we suddenly started getting a slew of inquiries from active and retired members worried that we were going to eliminate Medicare as an option and force all current and future retirees into Medicare advantage.

I want to remind everyone that TSO/TWU Local 106 was the first Union in America to change the By-Laws adding solid protections, that traditional Medicare can not and will not be eliminated through contract negotiations. Those changes were voted on and unanimously approved by the membership in June of 2024.
