On Friday September 29th, the Transportation Columbia Association honored TSO President Phil Valenti with their 2023 “Man-of-the-Year” award in recognition of all Phil’s accomplishments. Many of the TSO Officers attended the ceremony despite the historic rain and flooding that took place throughout the course of the day.
The TWU International along with tri-state TWU Locals including Local 106 will be out supporting the Union and rank and file members of the Screen Actors Guild- SAG, and American Federation of Television and Radio Artist-AFTRA. The results from the contract vote is below. There were 218 votes cast with 209 voting Yes, 7 voting No, and 2 blank votes. The contract will now go to the MTA Board on October 25th to be approved.
